Dublin airport’s new Terminal 2 has been described as ‘a first-class mix of form and function’ – a contemporary, high-spec building designed for efficiency.

Specifically designed to appeal to, and cope with 15 million passengers a year, this modern, curvy building needed washrooms that would look good, and be up to the challenges of a rigorous commercial environment.

A bespoke dryer unit was built for this project. Working with the architects, Pascall & Watson, Dolphin created bespoke units including hand dryers, taps and a 5 litre refillable soap tank. This was built into a drawer unit so that it was easily filled, and the whole system was accessible from behind too for easy maintenance.
