After a recent 10 year lease renewal on the base where over 750 employees occupy three floors, a full refurbishment was carried out overseen by Overbury Contractors. The vision was to reconfigure and implement a new design that would create an inclusive, inviting and inspirational atmosphere for Deloitte’s customers and team.

As leading washroom solution providers, we were able to work with Overbury who wanted to deliver the project to a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, with the highest environmental credentials. With an innovate drive on design from Perkins and Will Architects, we were able to contribute products that would revolutionise the washrooms, so that the transformation to be inclusive for all, was reflected across the whole building.

In the washroom activity area, we implemented a bespoke custom designed Alavo wash wall system with behind mirror paper towel and soap dispensers. To complete the washing area, a bespoke, made-to-measure Corian Vanity Wash Trough was fitted with the Alavo system. A mocha coloured, veined effect back-splash only enhanced the colour against the snow-white Corian, whilst the Alavo panel lighting in a moody blue, really jazzed up the atmosphere.

This design was installed across all the washrooms but the smaller details such as white LED lighting on the iconography in the Alavo in the men’s washrooms and then red for the women’s still set each washroom apart.

In the main cubicles, our DP2110 jumbo toilet roll holder was put in and our DP5402 lockable bin was hidden under the counter, to make for a cleaner wash space area.
